IIESpace is The Independent Institute of Education's (The IIE) open access institutional research repository. This is a digital archive of scholarship created by The IIE, composed of research papers and articles, conference proceedings and presentations, research projects, data, reports, theses and dissertations.
There are several benefits associated with the provision of open access to research information, including:
- Increased visibility of research for both the researcher and The IIE;
- No delays in making research available to others;
- Increased citation rates;
- No delays in accessing the research of others added to the repository.
Open Access Mandates
The IIE subscribes to both the green and the gold routes to open access. It supports the open access initiatives of the Berlin Declaration and the Budapest Open Access Initiative. As such, IIESpace gives unrestricted access to peer-reviewed scholarly communication.
Submitting Research to IIESpace
All students enrolled for post graduate studies at The IIE (Varsity College, Rosebank College, Vega and DSSA), academics and researchers are welcome to submit their research for consideration. Please read the Institutional Repository Policy and submission guideline for more information.
